Matthew Jeanes to B1 Prayer Meeting, 20/01/08
Matthew brought a picture of a wooden box, inside which was something like expanding filler foam. It burst out of the box and grew and grew until it enveloped the box completely. And then there was no more box. “I believe God is saying that, we think of Him firstly as bursting out of the box, bursting out of the boundaries. But He said, actually the boundaries did not exist. We draw too many lines.”
Revelation 4:5 "Before the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the sevenfold Spirit of God."
Matthew spoke of the oneness and completeness of God’s Holy Spirit. Sometimes we draw lines, we tend to think of the Spirit of God as before the throne in heaven, in some way restricted. “What God says is, stop drawing lines, stop trying to separate out what is going on there, what is going on here. Stop trying to draw lines between heaven and earth. The same Spirit that is in you right now is the same Spirit that is blazing out before the Throne. The same glory that happens in that place can happen here. We draw too many lines and God always sees past those lines, past those boxes.”
